Angels of Death

Angels of Death typically start killing in their early 20s, and can kill as many as 8 people in one or two years. They are more likely to brag about their murders, which often leads to their arrest.

CHARACTERISTICS of ANGELS of DEATH
-Work in hospitals and nursing homes where death is not unusual
-Exhilarated by their own power over life and death
-Often bring victims to the brink of death and “cure” them when no one else know how. Eventually most victims are killed.
-Often difficult to arrest and convict because to prove murder over a natural death is often difficult and requires a large amount of statistical proof. On the other hand they are likely to brag about their murders
-Often suffer from Munchausen's by proxy syndrome or a God Complex
-Usually kill approximately 8 victims over 1-2 years
-Preferred weapon: available medication that mirrors natural diseases and maladies.

 Examples of Angels of Death

Terri Rachals : (1985-1986) a 23-year old intensive care nurse in Albany, Georgia was indicted on 6 counts of murder in 1986, but only sentenced to 17 years imprisonment for aggravated assault. Her defense was successful in portraying her as suffering from “fugue states” and in claiming that her elderly victims had begged her to help them die. Her pattern was to inject potassium chloride to mimic the effects of cardiac arrest. Georgia officials suspected her of 20 such acts, and used statistical probability evidence in the prosecution. A (recanted) confession she made to officials was suppressed because of her mental condition. Newspapers in 1986 called her the “murderess of the century”. Everyone was surprised by the lenient jury verdict.

Madame Popova ; of Russia killed over 300 victims, and ran a contract murder service which freed women from abusive husbands.Popova was executed in 1909.

Genene Jones :Nurse who worked with terminally ill children in clinics all over Texas Killed between 11 and 46 infants by injecting digoxin into them and than pretending to try to save them.
-Continued killing even while under investigation Beverly Allitt Killed four children and attempted to murder at least 20 others by injecting them with insulin.
-She was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1984

As you can see, women can be just as evil as men, if not more. Most men serial killers kill those they don’t know. Just a random person they happen across during their day or someone they feel won’t be missed  but as you read above, women will kill those they are meant to care for such as spouses or children.
