Woman And Crime

It is mostly thought that the women are caring and temperate compared to men who seem to be violent by their nature.  However, when we make some research about the women killers, we see that women are more violent than men while murdering someone.  What is more, it is said that the women do it in such a clever way that they cannot easily be arrested like men.  I think another reason for their not being arrested easily is that we cannot associate women with killing.  There are, of course, several underlying reasons for women to kill as well as men but I will focus on the reasons why women kill and who they mostly kill.  Interestingly, we see that women mostly kill people who are close to them such as their lovers, husbands, and children.  I think, it is because of the subordination of the women in the society by means of gender issue that they become more violent.  That is to say, the repression as a result of their inferiority causes more violence in action.  The women kill their lovers and husbands because they are men and almost like enemies in terms of the ongoing conflict between the men and the women.  The women kill their children, may be, because they are forced to have one because of social conditioning or because of their family wants.  By killing their children they, in a way, escape from the responsibility, which becomes too much for them.  When I think of the men who are violent to their wives, for instance, I am not surprised how women become such brutal killers.  The human psychology is not related to the division in genders; male and female.  All people whether male or female live with their subconscious.  To sum up, the depiction of the lovely, mild women is an exaggeration.  Everybody contains a primitive, wild self in herself or himself; even the women can be more dangerous because they are the ones who are more repressed in the society.
